About the CountrySTAT Nigeria

National Mandate for Official Data Publication and Dissemination on CountrySTAT WebsiteThe National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) is the apex statistical body in Nigeria charged with the responsibility of coordinating the orderly implementation of all statistical activities under the National Statistical System. However, through the NSDS, Ministries Departments and Agencies are empowered to generate those data specific to their sub sector and contribute to central database being managed by the NBS.
